P5/6: The Lie Detector – Reasoning out TRUE or FALSE questions for PSLE Comprehension
(1.5 hr Workshop)
Did you know that the clues for FALSE statements are deceiving EASY to find in the passage?
Examiners word them similarly to trick students into thinking false statements are true.
On the other hand, the clues for TRUE statements are so HARD to find.
True statements usually have been paraphrased or require inference so they look different from the clues in the passage.
The True/False comprehension question type has appeared in PSLE Paper 2 for the past 5 years (2015-2019). During this PSLE workshop, your child will learn our in-house “CBAt” strategy to score for this seemingly challenging question type.
