P1/2: Captivating Readers with an IMPACTFUL INTRODUCTION

(1.5 hr Writing Workshop)

“What’s well begun is half done.” – Horace. When young writers are able to start their stories well, confidence levels are boosted, creative juices go into overdrive and writing the rest of the story will be as easy as a piece of cake. In this writing workshop, our young writers will learn how to write an IMPACTFUL INTRODUCTION with the “4 Wonder Women and 1 Captain Hook” technique. With this powerful technique, a young writer can paint a picture and raise compelling questions in the readers’ minds, thus enticing them to read on.
